Jillian Banner produces and edits videos for PolitiFact’s social channels. Previously she worked on Poynter’s yearlong VidSpark project, helping local newsrooms reach younger audiences through hosted social-first video series. Her production experience also includes making short documentaries and explainer videos for The Atlantic and producing promotional videos for a national nonprofit. Jillian graduated from Carleton College with a B.A. in Cinema & Media Studies.
