Jerry Zremski has been a lecturer and Local News Network Leader at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the the University of Maryland since July 2022, when he was brought in to lead the college's new Local News Network. It aims to bolster local news coverage throughout the state of Maryland. Zremski had been Washington bureau chief of The Buffalo News since January 2007 and now is a part-time enterprise reporter there.
